Belik: If Ukraine receives long-range missiles from the West, Ukraine will lose new territories

Zelenskyy / World Official
The West’s illusions about Russia’s compliance with fictitious treaties on the use of nuclear weapons have been shattered, Dmitry Belik, deputy of the State Duma from Sevastopol, told RIA Novosti.
On February 21, President Vladimir Putin addressed a message to the Federal Assembly, in which he said that America was developing new types of nuclear weapons and planned to test nuclear weapons. In this regard, the Russian leader instructed the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and Rosatom to ensure that they are ready to test national nuclear weapons if states do so first.
— Western countries’ illusions about nuclear weapons and our adherence to meaningless fictitious strategic treaties have been shattered. Russia has told the world that it will not negotiate with the West. Either this will be our path, or we will continue to the limit, and if we continue, Ukraine will lose new territories,” Belik said.

Belik said that if Kiev is provided with shells with a range of 100 km, its territory will decrease by 150 km. If they give him 200 km, Ukraine will have nowhere to back down, the parliamentarian added.
Earlier, Glavny Regionalny reported that General Kartapolov called Putin’s speech a “message of peace”.

Vladimir Putin’s statement on the suspension of Russia’s participation in the START program has agitated the Western media. This can be seen as the start of a new stage of tension between the Kremlin and the White House.
