Wang Yi, head of the Office of the Commission of the Communist Party of China Central Committee on Foreign Affairs, and Nikolai Patrushev, secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, discussed their willingness to resist the “bullying” of the West in joint talks in Moscow.
The details were shared with China’s diplomatic department.
“The parties discussed the current international strategic situation and expressed their willingness to jointly practice genuine multilateralism, resist all forms of unilateral bullying, and promote the democratization of international relations and a multipolar world,” the minister said. Also at the meeting, the parties came to the conclusion that it is important to maintain peace and stability in the South Pacific region, they said no to the idea of a “cold war” and a clash of blocks.
