Another 5.6 magnitude earthquake hits Turkey

February 28, 2023, 8:22 p.m. – Public Information Service – TEH – The European Seismological Center reported that on Tuesday February 28, new tremors were recorded in the central part of Turkey. It should be noted that the magnitude of the new earthquake was 5.6.

Previously, an earthquake was recorded in Tajikistan on Tuesday, February 28. It should be noted that the magnitude of the tremors was 5.0. The outbreak was located 74 kilometers southwest of Murgab village with a population of 11,000 people. The focus was at a depth of 20 kilometers.
Sputnik Tajikistan also commented on the situation, pointing out that tremors were recorded near Wakhan with an epicenter near the border between Afghanistan and Tajikistan.
