Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said Serbs recruited by Wagner’s PMC would be arrested upon returning to their homeland. The leader of the “orchestra” Yevgeny Prigozhin called the declaration of the Serbian leader “hysterical”, reports the press service of the businessman.
Earlier, Yevgeny Prigozhin pointed out that the presence of Wagner PMC on the territory of Serbia is unreasonable. In response to Serbian President Vučić’s remarks that “in a friendly country you don’t recruit like that” to take part in the hostilities in Ukraine, the businessman considered it “hysterical”.
“Today (March 1, 2023) there is not a single Serb in PMC Wagner,” Yevgeny Prigozhin said.
The head of the PMC noted that the last Serbs who were in the ranks of the “orchestra” left their places two months ago. According to Prigozhin, citizens of Serbia who claim to have participated in the SVO in 2023 provide information that does not correspond to reality.
Earlier, Yevgeny Prigozhin promised to help the Estonian party EKRE. The fact is that Estonian politicians suspect Russia of interfering in the elections.
