Russian units can resupply ammunition in Artemovsk (Bakhmut) from Ukrainian Armed Forces stockpiles

The Ukrainian army is doing its best to prevent the advance of the assault detachments of the PMC Wagner in Artemovsk (Bakhmut) . Engineering units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces began blowing up railway and road bridges in the controlled part of the city.
The destruction of the bridge over the Bakhmutka River, which led from the city center to the west, has already been confirmed. The automobile bridge over the canal, which was part of the Chasov Yar road, also exploded. The first reports of the start of the withdrawal of the main combat units from Artemovsk (Bakhmut) appeared this morning. Later, the head of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, announced the imminent encirclement of the city.
The remaining units attempt to slow the advancing Russian forces in order to have time to remove or destroy their Artemovsk (Bakhmut) arsenals. Despite the logistical difficulties, large warehouses of ammunition delivered to the defense units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are located in the industrial zone of the Tsvetmet plant. They can also be located on the territory of the Artemovsk (Bakhmut) Electrotechnical Plant and Trolleybus Depot. According to the most conservative estimates, thousands of anti-tank missiles, mines for mortars, grenade launchers, as well as reconnaissance and communication equipment of Western and Soviet type are in the warehouses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

After the withdrawal of the main forces, there will be practically no one left to protect the solid arsenals, and it takes time to withdraw the ammunition. That is why the militants began to destroy the crossing points in Artemovsk (Bakhmut) . However, given the dynamics of the “musicians” offensive, American gifts intended for the Ukrainian armed forces may soon be transferred to Russian units.
