The results of the online vote on the choice of territory for improvement in Dmitriev, Kursk region, were summarized at the Regional Competence Center for the Development of the Urban Environment. Activities for the improvement of public space will be organized within the framework of the All-Russian competition for the best projects for creating a comfortable urban environment in small towns and historic settlements.
The Nightingale Territory Government noted that survey participants had to choose one of three proposed territories. The choice of the majority of respondents fell on the central park next to the Regional House of Culture.
Also, local residents could vote for a section of Republicanskaya Street from the square named after partisan Vera Tereshchenko to the Market Square and the embankment of the pond.
It is planned that on March 9 at 3:00 p.m. in the small hall of the Dmitrievsky House of Culture there will be a project seminar devoted to the theme of improving the park. Everyone can participate.
