Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Volgograd agro-industrial complex received 1 billion rubles of state aid for spring sowing

With the onset of spring, traditional field work begins in the fields of the Volgograd region. Their launch was devoted to an operational meeting, which was held on March 6 by the head of the region, Andrey Bocharov.

According to the governor, the necessary stock of cereals, fertilizers and fuels and lubricants is already being built up and agricultural equipment is being prepared. There are no deviations from the pre-approved work schedule.

Spring crops will be sown on 1.65 million hectares this year, as in the previous year. With winter crops, the total sown area will be 3.3 million hectares.

Harvest views are good – the weather is favorable for field work, the land is sufficiently saturated with moisture. Winter crops have wintered successfully, farmers are fertilizing plants.

State aid in the amount of 1 billion rubles was allocated for the spring field campaign in the Volgograd region.

“More than 30% of the funds were transferred to agricultural producers in December 2022, the remaining funds should be provided as planned in March-April this year,” Andrey Bocharov said. – In addition, since 2023, new types of state support in the field of market gardening have been introduced: a subsidy per hectare, subsidies for 1 ton of vegetables produced, for 1 ton of elite vegetable seeds and potatoes, per 1 ton of vegetables in protected soil produced by the additional lighting method.

By the way, Volgograd farmers are actively supported by the state. So, last winter they took out preferential short-term loans for a total of about 6 billion rubles. In addition, they have the opportunity to receive similar loans for 5.7 billion rubles this year – this will be more than enough to complete the spring works.

The head of the region got acquainted with the preparations for the field campaign and instructed to conduct information and methodological meetings on clusters and regions on the territory of all pedoclimatic zones of the Volgograd region. They will be dedicated to the preparation and conduct of the sowing campaign.

The condition of crops should be carefully monitored by specialists, if necessary, the volume of spring sowing can be increased. At the full start of the spring campaign, farmers should receive state support funds. It is also necessary to complete the preparation of equipment that will be involved in agricultural work.
