Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

More than a thousand people took part in a demonstration against the law on foreign agents in Georgia

Georgian police used stun and gas grenades against protesters in Tbilisi. This is reported by Paper Kartuli in his Telegram channel.

Before that, loudspeakers asked women, children and the elderly to leave Rustaveli Square. Protesters attempted to break into the parliament building. In the temple opposite, rally participants tried to hide after using stun grenades and tear gas.

After the dispersal, the police cordoned off the area. When protesters were pushed back, mass detentions began. The detention of the leader of the opposition party “Girchi – more freedom” Zurab Japaridze is known.

According to TASS, more than a thousand people came out to protest against the Foreign Agents Act.
