Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

US Senator Wicker Warns of New Russian Nuclear Weapons

The United States has no means of defense against Russia’s new nuclear weapons. Mississippi State Senator Roger Wicker, a member of the Armed Services Committee, talks about it.

He said that Russia is a serious threat to America, the fact is that Moscow has a larger and more modern arsenal, the American arsenal is quite far from it. RBC writes about this.

“Russia has developed new nuclear weapons unprecedented in the US arsenal, including self-contained transoceanic nuclear torpedoes and intercontinental cruise missiles. It’s a weapon against which we have no protection,” Wicker said.

Wicker also noted the heightened danger from China. He believes that Beijing is “modernizing and expanding its nuclear forces at a breathtaking rate”. According to the senator, in 2030, China could overtake the United States in this industry.

Earlier, we learned that political analyst Scott Ritter spoke about the main fear of the United States with regard to Russia. He believes that Western officials do not want to see Russia as an adversary. This fear has a long history.
