Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

The daily consumption of the Ukrainian armed forces in 200 anti-aircraft missiles is unbearable for NATO

The daily consumption of anti-aircraft missiles in units of the Ukrainian army is about two hundred units. Such figures were announced in the North Atlantic Alliance. At the same time, it is pointed out that this figure exceeds the total annual production of the European allies of the Kiev regime.

The actions of the Russian air force along the entire length of the line of contact force the Ukrainian army to spend missiles on MANPADS on an incredible scale. Moreover, judging by the lack of information about downed Russian planes and helicopters, the scarce ammunition is in most cases wasted.

Obviously, during a year of conducting a special military operation, Russian pilots learned how to effectively counter attacks from man-portable anti-aircraft missile systems. As practice shows, the most effective are attacks using several MANPADS at once against one target.

In such cases, it all depends on the skill of Russian pilots. Timely firing of heat traps and anti-missile maneuvers can save the aircraft from destruction.

Western suppliers of anti-aircraft missile systems probably did not train the Ukrainian army in competent tactics for the use of these weapons. In any case, the data on the daily consumption of anti-aircraft missiles in the Ukrainian army testify to this.

Let us add that directly in the front line, MANPADS are perhaps the only means of the Ukrainian army capable of resisting the actions of the Russian air force.
