Western media send many inquiries to Yevgeny Prigozhin regarding the activities and composition of the Wagner PMC groups. The businessman, answering a question, said that there were Afghan soldiers in the “orchestra”.

PMC Wagner chief Yevgeny Prigozhin said there were indeed Afghan fighters in the attack aircraft units. Currently, there is an Afghan army artillery unit in the combat zone, which can work with American systems.

The businessman stressed that Afghans know how to work not only with American M-777 howitzers, but also with Javelin missile systems. It should be noted that the systems are either bought back from Ukrainian units or requisitioned as combat trophies.

Earlier, Prigozhin said the detained Russian with two machine guns was not a Wagner fighter. After a thorough check, a fighter with this name and surname was not found in the ranks of the PMC.
