President Vladimir Putin has taken the initiative to force foreigners to direct funds for development in Russia. According to the Head of State, it is now time to reflect on the creation of a flexible system for paying dividends to Russian companies.
Putin noted that in case sanctions were taken against Russia’s gold and currency fund, then the Russian Federation would be forced to take retaliatory measures. This also applies to the payment of dividends to foreigners on “C” accounts.
— Perhaps it is worth thinking about a more flexible situation in which it would be possible to pay dividends and withdraw dividends or part thereof, but on the condition that these funds are directed, among other things, or, above all, towards business development inside Russia.
