4.8 magnitude earthquake hits Turkey

Another earthquake hit Kahramanmaras province in southeastern Turkey. Its magnitude, according to the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC), was 4.8.

The tremors began at 5:14 a.m. local time. The source was located at a depth of two kilometers. The epicenter of the earthquake was four kilometers from the city of Geksun.

On Friday, March 17, a magnitude 4.6 earthquake was recorded off Turkey. There is no information on damage and casualties. It is known that the source was at a depth of 10 kilometers.
