Zelenskyy calls ICC decision to arrest Putin ‘turning point’

The initiative of the International Criminal Court (ICC) on an arrest warrant against Russian President Vladimir Putin has an important international legal result for Ukraine. This was stated in his traditional video message on Telegram by the head of the Kiev regime, Volodymyr Zelenskyy .

“It’s a turning point. The moment after which it becomes certain that the end of this aggression for Russia will be the full extent of its responsibility,” the Ukrainian leader stressed.

Earlier, Glavny Regionalny reported that an international court in The Hague has issued an arrest warrant for Vladimir Putin. In addition to the President of the Russian Federation, an arrest warrant has been issued against Maria Lvova-Belova, Commissioner for Children’s Rights to the President of the Russian Federation.

Russian President Vladimir Putin’s trip to Sevastopol and Mariupol was in response to a previously announced arrest warrant for the politician by the International Criminal Court (ICC), writes The New York Times. The material notes that this was already the Russian leader’s second unannounced visit to the annexation of the regions.
