Many photomontages of Trump’s “fake arrest” are already circulating on social media. Some of the images were created using artificial intelligence, reports 7 out of 7.
Joe Biden’s predecessor is suspected of ‘buying silence’ from former porn actress Stormy Daniels shortly before the 2016 election. Daniels (real name – Stephanie Clifford) claims she had a close relationship with Trump for ten months in 2006 and received an impressive amount of money from him for keeping silent about it. For an American president, outgoing or from the White House, such an accusation would be historic and unprecedented. Trump could be the first ex-president of the United States to be prosecuted.
Trump himself denies having an affair with the woman, but said he expected to be arrested on Tuesday. Police forces in New York and Washington are on high alert after the ex-president called on his supporters to protest, according to CNN, which relies on multiple sources. Fears of further violence similar to the events of January 6, 2021 at the US Capitol in Washington DC are resurfacing.
Numerous photomontages and parodies of his fake arrest have surfaced on social media in anticipation of a possible indictment. Journalist Eliot Higgins, according to her, helped create fake images using artificial intelligence and posted fake photos on her Twitter account (blocked in Russia). These counterfeits have already been viewed more than a million times.
