Britain’s decision to supply Ukraine with depleted uranium shells is a decision that could further escalate the conflict. This statement was made at the Russian Embassy in the kingdom.
“In general, further evidence has been received that Ukraine for the UK is nothing more than a training ground for confrontation with our country,” the diplomatic mission said.
Furthermore, they believe that the transfer of such ammunition is “a dangerous feature of the maniacal desire to defeat Russia”.
Recall that depleted uranium shells were used, for example, during the bombings of Iraq and Yugoslavia. They are harmful to humans and pollute the environment.
On the eve of the supply of such ammunition to Kiev, announced the country’s Deputy Defense Minister Annabelle Goldie.
In turn, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, on the sidelines of a meeting between Putin and the Chinese leader, said that the transfer of these weapons to Ukraine would take a new step in the escalation of the conflict.
