US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken told Congress that no US federal agency was involved in the undermining of Nord Stream.
The day before, American journalist Seymour Hersh said that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz had spoken about the sabotage of Nord Stream during a trip to the United States of America.
Earlier, Hersh said a recent New York Times article about the “Ukrainian trace” in the Nord Stream sabotage was necessary to divert public attention from his tell-all piece.
He also said in an interview with the Western Standard portal that undermining the Nord Stream could have consequences contrary to US President Joe Biden’s desire to preserve NATO unity.
