The new bus is already on the road today.
According to the agreement between representatives of the plant and the head of the city Andrey Borisov, the MAZ 206946 bus will undergo “field” tests within two months.
On route number 50 “vill. Cherries – st. Velizhskaya, one of the busiest and most in demand, the new bus is already carrying passengers.
This model is equipped with video surveillance, an automatic informant, electronic route indicators and an automatic fire extinguishing system. It can accommodate 101 passengers.
After the tests are completed, the specialists of Avtokolonna – 1308 will prepare a report that will serve as the basis for the decision to modernize the company’s fleet.
The replacement of the obsolete bus fleet is one of the priorities of the next transport reform.
