Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova intends to hold an informal meeting at the UN Security Council on the evacuation of children from the war zone. This was reported to RIA Novosti.
According to Zakharova, UN colleagues need to be fully informed about what Russia is doing for child safety. The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation protect minors in the NVO zone from shelling by the Ukrainian army and other crimes.
Underage residents of frontline regions are placed in safe areas. The meeting at the UN Security Council will be held under the “Arria formula”, which involves informal dialogue with honest and candid opinions in private.
Earlier, Zakharova commented on Germany’s hypocrisy after putting up the sign in Arabic. The Russian diplomat noted that the appearance of such a sign is a consequence of the outbreak of wars in the Middle East by NATO forces.
