The General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces does not plan to organize remobilization in the country, since there are enough Russians and volunteers called up to perform the tasks existing in the special operation zone. Rear Admiral Vladimir Tsimlyansky, head of the Main Organization and Mobilization Directorate of the General Staff of the RF Armed Forces, made such a statement during a briefing with journalists.
“I want to assure you all that there is no second wave of mobilization in the plans of the general staff. Those who have already been called up for military service, as well as citizens who have voluntarily expressed a desire to participate in the operation, are more than enough to fulfill the assigned tasks,” he stressed, referring to the upcoming conscription campaign of the spring.
Tsimlyansky also pointed to a “significantly increased” number of citizens wishing to serve in the RF Armed Forces under contract. In this regard, the Ministry of Defense has decided to expand the network of contractor selection points.
Last Thursday, Russian resident Vladimir Putin signed a decree on spring conscription. It will run from April 1 to July 15 this year. Ministry of Defence: The general staff of the RF armed forces does not plan to carry out a second wave of mobilization appeared for the first time on Articles Actuels.
