Cucumbers, tomatoes, potatoes and apples have risen in price in Karelia

Kareliastat shared updated information on food price developments from March 21-27.

Thus, the cost of tomatoes increased by 6%. Cucumbers also rose by 3.2%, potatoes by 1.7% and onions by 2.7%. Among fruits, the price of apples increased by 2%. At the same time, the price of white cabbage fell by 1.1%.

As for other food products, the price of vermicelli rose by 6.5% in the republic, as well as that of boiled sausage by 5.6%. In the same list, long leaf black tea (4.8%), butter (2.6%) and chicken eggs (2.1%). In addition, prices increased: rice (1.9%), pork (1.4%) and biscuits (1.2%). But the cost of milk has fallen by 2.9%, sunflower oil by 1.9% and canned vegetables for baby food are now 1% cheaper.
