Acting governor of Smolensk region Vasily Anokhin said the Smolensk Medical Rehabilitation Hospital will become a regional stronghold for the rehabilitation and recovery of SVO participants.
Today, this hospital is already equipped with everything necessary. As part of last year’s federal project, 143 units of modern equipment for the departments of neurology, orthopedics and physiotherapy were purchased here, for more than 86 million rubles.
For example, throughout the country, a unique device for the passive development of the cervical spine “Oxyflex” is available only in Smolensk and Chelyabinsk.
“When our guys come back from the NWO zone, that’s where they can recover. We will think about how to quickly expand the zone,” Vasily Anokhin said.
