The storming began after the occupation policemen climbed the roof of the Al-Qibli Chapel, broke its windows, and threw poison gas and stun grenades to force the worshipers inside to get out of it, and empty it after the worshipers closed its doors, armed with sticks and rifle butts, which they used in their brutal and barbaric attacks on the worshipers after storming it. .
Video clips filmed from inside the Al-Qibli Chapel showed the occupation policemen attacking the women and men in i’tikaaf with batons, after they fired sound and gas bombs inside it, to increase the tension after dozens of Jerusalemites flocked from occupied Jerusalem to the vicinity of the Old City to express their anger and protest, which forced The occupation forces reopened the doors of Al-Aqsa Mosque for worshipers to perform the Fajr prayer, but after the end of the prayer, they stormed Al-Aqsa squares again and attacked the fasting worshipers with rubber bullets and sound bombs without any prohibition or deterrence.
The bloody raids, firing rubber bullets and using batons, resulted in more than 200 injuries among the worshipers, some of which were serious, according to what Najeh Bakirat, Deputy Director General of the Islamic Endowments in occupied Jerusalem, while a spokesman for the Palestinian Red Crescent stated that the occupation forces prevented cars Palestinian ambulance and medical staff from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The occupation forces also arrested about 500 detainees among the young men who were present in the Al-Qibli prayer hall, and the protesters outside the walls of Al-Aqsa Mosque, according to the Commission for Detainees and Ex-Prisoners’ Affairs in its latest report.

The Israeli occupation forces continued their aggression, so their warplanes launched, at dawn today, a series of raids on two sites of the Palestinian resistance in the south of Gaza City and the Nusseirat refugee camp in the center of the Strip. The Israeli artillery also bombed two sites of the Palestinian resistance near the borders in the north and south of the Gaza Strip.

In the Arab reactions, the State of Qatar condemned in the strongest terms the Israeli occupation forces’ storming and vandalism of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, assaulting worshipers there, preventing ambulances from reaching the injured, evacuating the worshipers in the Al-Qibli prayer hall, imposing restrictions on the mosque’s gates and preventing Palestinians from entering.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs considered these brutal criminal practices a serious escalation and blatant encroachment on the holy places, an extension of the policy of Judaizing Jerusalem, a violation of international law and international legitimacy resolutions, and a provocation of the feelings of more than two billion Muslims in the world, especially in the blessed month of Ramadan.
In turn, the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the storming and assaulting the worshipers, blaming the occupation authorities for the serious consequences of the escalation that may undermine efforts to achieve calm and stop the violence.

Internationally, the Turkish Foreign Ministry issued a statement saying that Turkey strongly condemns the Israeli forces’ storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the arrest of large numbers of Palestinians, just as the Iranian Foreign Ministry denounced the Israeli storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque, calling on Islamic countries to respond strongly to these violations.
