Injuries and arrests in a new aggression by the occupation forces against Al-Aqsa Mosque

Today, the Israeli occupation forces renewed their aggression against the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, as they stormed the mosque and assaulted the worshipers and seclusion in it with stun grenades, poison gas and rubber bullets.

Local sources reported that the occupation forces surrounded the Al-Qibli prayer hall in Al-Aqsa Mosque, beat the worshipers with sticks, and fired bombs at them to force them out of the mosque, which led to a number of them suffocating.

She added that the occupation forces forcibly removed the worshipers and seclusions from inside the mosque, spread in its courtyards, opened the doors of the tribal chapel and prevented the worshipers from entering it, and also arrested a number of young men in the vicinity of Bab Al-Amoud area in occupied Jerusalem.

For its part, the Palestine Red Crescent Society in Jerusalem stated, in a statement, that its staff working in the vicinity of Al-Aqsa Mosque, dealt with the injured as a result of the occupation forces’ storming of the mosque, noting that two cases were transferred to receive treatment in the hospital, while the rest of the injuries were dealt with in the field.

Last night, the occupation forces stormed the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, arrested more than 400 worshipers from inside, and fired rubber-coated metal bullets and poison gas bombs at the worshipers and those in retreat, which led to dozens of them suffocating, and some of the contents of the Al-Qibli Mosque were destroyed. In the aftermath of targeting the worshipers in Al-Aqsa, dozens of settlers stormed the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, under strict protection from the occupation police, and made provocative tours and performed Talmudic rituals in its courtyards.
