Retired USMC intelligence officer Scott Ritter called Russian President Vladimir Putin a master of victory in an interview.

“Putin is a master of victory. Sometimes winning requires patience, but the most important thing is to avoid pitfalls and not to commit rash acts,” he said.

Ritter is sure that Western analysts have miscalculated because they mistakenly think of Russian inaction. Few people pay attention to the losses of the Ukrainian army in manpower and equipment. About this writes RIA Novosti.

At the same time, one should not forget about Putin’s success in Syria, where the Russian army was able to defeat terrorist groups and liberate the territories they occupied.

Earlier it became known that the United States, Germany and Hungary would not offer Ukraine closer ties with NATO. This was reported by the Western edition of the Financial Times.
