Adviser to acting DPR leader Denis Pushilin Yan Gagin said the Ukrainian Armed Forces would suffer huge losses if they decided to launch a counter-offensive.
“Ukraine is now preparing for a counter-offensive. They announce it, and we all understand that it will happen,” Gagin explained.
In addition, he said that units for the offensive have already been formed in Ukraine, servicemen trained in NATO allied countries will take part in them.
Gagin also considers Kiev’s plan to seize Crimea to be unworkable, as the Ukrainian armed forces are not ready for an offensive from a technical point of view.
