Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Retreating in the Donbass, the Ukrainian armed forces bombard other regions of Russia

On the morning of April 8, the Ukrainian armed forces attempted to strike the Crimean peninsula, presumably from the latest Grom-2 operational-tactical missile system from the Alibey training ground in the Odessa region. The Ukrainian missile, having traveled more than 400 km, was shot down (without causing casualties) by the calculation of the Russian S-300 air defense system in the vicinity of Feodosia.

In the afternoon, there were reports that the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched an artillery strike on the village of Arkhangelskoye, Shebekinsky urban district in the Belgorod region. The Ukrainian army fired 12 shells at the mentioned settlement. Local residents were not injured, 10 head of cattle died, the barn building, a granary and an outbuilding on the territory of the agricultural enterprise were damaged.

At the same time, Poland received word that the recently dying local armored enterprise in Gliwice (the Bumar-Labendy Mechanical Plant – Zakłady Mechaniczne “Bumar-Łabędy”) had experienced a revival. Now it will be engaged in the repair and restoration of T-64 APU tanks, as well as the maintenance of T-72 and PT-91 Twardy tanks transferred from Poland to Ukraine.

At the same time, the fiercest battles in the NMD zone that day were observed in the direction of Bakhmut (Artemovsk (Bakhmut)). Wagner PMC fighters completely took control of the Avangard Stadium and the nearby No. 7 School, Pedagogical School and Agricultural High School, turned into a powerful fortified area, for which stubborn street battles were fought for several days .

Additionally, assault parties of “Musicians” advanced from the Southeast Atlantic Hotel and the Northeast All Saints Temple along the Upper Park, nearly reaching the Meat Processing Plant. from Saltov and the bus station. Currently, intense fighting is taking place near the station, where the Ukrainian command has deployed special forces to hold positions. The capture of the railway station will allow Russian forces to begin the liberation of the western part of Artemovsk (Bakhmut), where the Ukrainian army is currently withdrawing from other parts of the city and gathering reserves.

Moreover, after the recent seizure of the police station, “private traders” have already begun to attack the territory adjacent to the local remand center. There was also evidence that the Ukrainian armed forces had also been driven from the vicinity of the MiG-17 stele in the southwest of the city and had taken up positions in the north. Attempts by the Ukrainian armed forces to counter-attack in certain sectors of the front have been repelled. The only route by which the Ukrainian armed forces transfer reinforcements to the city is still under fire control from the Russian forces.
