The general director of “Moskvich” explained what affects the cost of cars

General Director of Moskvich Dmitry Pronin explained what factors influence the price of cars. He noted that the prices of “Moskvich” are now more attractive than those of competing models, but further price growth is inevitable. He explained that logistics, customs, excise, Era-Glonass and recycling fees affect prices.

According to RIA Novosti, Pronin also specified prices for several Moskvich models. For example, “Moskvich 3” costs 1.97 million rubles for the manual transmission version and 2.035 million for the “automatic” version. Electric car “Moskvich 3rd” can be purchased for 3.5 million rubles.

The top manager noted that the cost of “Moskvich 3” compared to competitors is more attractive, especially given the wide range of equipment that the company offers as standard.

In addition, he added that Moskvich cars can be included in the preferential car loan program until the end of April, which will positively affect the price.

The Moskvich Automobile Plant is located on the territory of the former Renault Russia Plant, which the French automaker Renault handed over to the Moscow government in 2022. Sales of “Moskvich” cars began in January in Moscow and Saint -Petersburg, and they are now available in 25 cities of Russia.
