Jaipur. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that the esteem of the police in Rajasthan is high. Because of this, Rajasthan is considered a peaceful and safe state in the country. According to the basic spirit of democracy, the police has performed its duty with impartiality and sensitivity. Better investigation and vigilance have brought punishment to the criminals and justice to the victims.
Gehlot was addressing the ceremony after inspecting the parade on Rajasthan Police Foundation Day at Rajasthan Police Academy on Sunday. He congratulated all the policemen and officers on the foundation day. Also, saluted the police personnel who were martyred in the line of duty. He said that keeping in mind the goal of providing sensitive, transparent and accountable administration, the police should ensure the protection of the honor of the common man.
The Chief Minister said that due to the strong intentions and innovations of the police, the confidence of the common people has increased. Along with crime being controlled, investigation time has also decreased. The motto of the police, ‘Confidence in common people-fear in criminals’ seems to be coming true in the public. Gehlot said that important decisions have been taken by the state government in the direction of strengthening, modernization and increasing efficiency of the police.

Gehlot said that in the last one month, the way police conducted operations to nab criminals, there has been a 10 percent reduction in crimes. He said that the state government would not tolerate anti-social elements. He expressed confidence that Rajasthan Police will maintain its identity as the best police force of the country with dedicated spirit.
The Chief Minister said that the human form of the police was seen during the Corona transition. He fulfilled his responsibility by delivering food from door to door and maintaining a safe environment. He said that we will face challenges in the times to come.
Gehlot said that the sensitive state government has created history in the development of the state through public welfare schemes. Now inflation relief camps will be organized across the state from April 24. In these, people will be benefited by linking them with the schemes through Janadhar card.

Earlier, the Chief Minister paid tribute to the martyrdom by offering flowers at the Police Martyr’s Memorial. He encouraged the policemen while inspecting the parade at the parade ground. In the ceremony, Director General of Police Umesh Mishra said that the police personnel are always committed to protect and serve the common man. Discharging its responsibility in the role of a vigilant guard. In the end, RPA Director Rajeev Sharma proposed vote of thanks.
