Russia’s ambassador to London, Andrey Kelin, said the British ambassador protested strongly over yesterday’s speeches in court after the treason verdict against Vladimir Kara-Murza, who was sentenced to 25 years in prison.
“Yesterday morning, demonstration organized by the British, the Americans and the Canadians. This is considered a gross interference in our affairs,” Kelin told Russia 24.
Previously, the Kremlin answered a question regarding the conviction of Kara-Murza*.
And today the State Duma of Russia adopted a bill on the penalty of up to life imprisonment for the crime committed by Vladimir Kara-Murza * – high treason.
