April 18, 2023

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its dissatisfaction with the international community’s laxity in assuming its responsibilities in providing protection for the Palestinian people, calling for effective international measures to deter the occupation. In a statement, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the occupation authorities forcing the worshipers and seclusion pilgrims inside the Ibrahimi Mosque to leave it by closing its gates and attacking Palestinians in its vicinity. The Foreign Ministry said that these measures are considered an extension of a colonial policy aimed at imposing more control and control over the sanctities and access to them, and an attempt to remind the Palestinians that the occupation controls their lives and movement, through a continuous occupation escalation. She affirmed that the Palestinians’ march towards Jerusalem and its sanctities, and towards the Ibrahimi Mosque, is conclusive evidence of the failure of the occupation policy and its Judaization plans, and evidence of the Palestinian people’s adherence to their full rights and sanctities, despite the tyranny of the occupation and its collective punishments that violate international law.
