Doctor of Historical Sciences Yuri Rogulev, in an interview with Zvezda, described as an internal political statement by German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius on the “normalcy” of hostilities in the “former” territories of Russia.
According to the expert, in Germany the political picture resembles that of the United States with its chaos and contradictions. Traditional political forces are reducing their influence, new political parties are proposed, for example the radical left-liberal Greens.
“These are all statements, they are of an internal political nature. Social democrats are always losers. And Pistorius, who is a representative of the social democrats, tries to appear holier than the pope of Rome, to gain political points. This is not his first such statement,” Rogulev noted.
At the same time, according to Yuri Rogulev, from a practical point of view, all this changes little, since Germany still does not have long-range weapons. Only the United States can give them.
“He barks, but he can’t bite anymore. In that sense, they are empty words,” the expert said.
Meanwhile, NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg said alliance allies were discussing the supply of planes to Ukraine. And the Kremlin has declared that NATO is pursuing the line of absorbing Ukraine.
