Firozabad. Property worth lakhs of rupees were gutted in a fierce fire that broke out on Thursday night in Ramgarh police station and Sirsaganj police station of Firozabad district in Uttar Pradesh. Due to the promptness of the police administration, there was no loss of life.
Rajesh Gupta’s three-storey house caught fire on Thursday night in Mohalla MG Puram of Police Station Sirsaganj. Suddenly there was a stir due to the fire. Five members of the family got trapped inside the house. After several hours of efforts by five fire engines, the fire was brought under control and the people trapped in the house were safely evacuated. Loss of lakhs of rupees has been told due to burning of goods in godown and house.
The second incident took place on Thursday night in Thana Ramgarh area, in which a sudden fire broke out in the Mehak Electronics furniture shop, causing chaos in the area. SP City Sarvesh Mishra and CO Kamlesh Kumar Singh reached the spot along with the fire brigade team and police force as soon as the information about the fire was received. The fire could be brought under control after 12 fire engines tried for about five hours. There is a loss of about 50 lakhs due to the fire.
