Journalist Hersh: The West Knows About Ukraine’s Black Market Arms Sale, But They’re Keeping It Quiet
In the West, they know that the weapons that are sent to Ukraine end up on the black market, but the Western media is silent about this. This statement was made by American journalist and Pulitzer Prize winner Seymour Hersh during a conversation with <a target=”_blank” href=”https://russian.rt.com/ussr/news/1139655-hersh-dengi-ukraina-ssha?utm_source=yxnews&utm_medium=desktop” rel=”nofollow noopener”>TR.
According to him, several months after the start of the Russian special operation, concerns have arisen, in particular about the resale of man-portable elite missile systems that can shoot down planes at high altitudes.
“This has raised serious concerns. About six months ago (possibly earlier), CBS published material, which then had to be taken down,” the American journalist said.
Hersh also added that even at the start of the conflict, countries bordering Ukraine “were inundated with weapons” that the West was transferring to Kiev. He noted that the officers who received them engaged in the resale and transfer of weapons on the black market.
