Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov’s plane has landed in New York. This was informed by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Maria Zakharova, on her Telegram channel.
“Tomorrow, a meeting of the UN Security Council will be held under his presidency,” the diplomat wrote.
On Monday, April 24, the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry is due to participate in a public debate on the topic of defending the principles of the Organization’s Charter in the UN Security Council (SC).
On Tuesday, Lavrov will act as chairman at another Security Council meeting. We are talking about open debates on issues in the Middle East.
