Chandigarh. A teenager allegedly shot dead his grandmother after a quarrel with his father in Rohtak district of Haryana. While giving this information on Tuesday, the police said that the incident took place on Monday night in Nandal village.
Ranbir Singh, in-charge of Lakhanmajra police station, said that the age of the accused is about 17 years and his grandmother was 68 years old. He told that Kishore’s father is in the Central Reserve Police Force. The station in-charge said, “The boy had a fight with his father over some issue. After the quarrel, his father went to the adjacent house where his brother and his mother live. There he complained about his son to his mother.
“Meanwhile, the boy also reached there and shot his grandmother in a fit of rage,” he added. He had reached his grandmother with his father’s license gun from his house. A case of murder has been registered in connection with the incident and the accused is absconding, police said.
