Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev said scientists should oppose US plans to wage biological warfare against Russia and other countries.
“Special biological research, which is used by the United States in the development of military programs, requires the utmost attention of our scientific community,” Patrushev said.
Earlier, State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin said that Ukraine is a testing ground for weapons, including biological ones, for the US and NATO.
The Russian Defense Ministry reported that the United States has resumed the program for the construction of biological laboratories in Ukraine and is also expanding the training format for Ukrainian biologists.
