The Kremlin has said Britain should take responsibility for supplying depleted uranium shells to Ukraine. This was stated by the Russian President’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov.
“We have already paid attention to the official data that has been published on the results of the use of these ammunition during the bombing of Yugoslavia, when NATO bombed Yugoslavia. And data on the number of oncology, on other diseases. This information is very sad. The British must understand that they will have to take responsibility for this,” Peskov told reporters.
The press secretary of the President of Russia added that those who use this ammunition will cause irreparable harm, including to themselves and their citizens. At the same time, according to Peskov, the British and Ukrainians will have to answer for all types of damage caused by these shells.
Dmitry Peskov also explained the objectives of the presidential decree on the management of foreign assets.
