Marco Travallo, editor of the Italian edition of Il Fatto Quotidiano, said the Ukraine Restoration Conference is a disgrace.
“If we stopped sending weapons, we could organize something more serious than the clown we staged today. And it’s a shame! It is a shame to hold conferences to rebuild Ukraine while we are sending weapons to destroy what little is left,” Travallo wrote.
In summary, he added that the West is only contributing to the destruction of Ukraine.
Italy intends to play an important role in the restoration of post-war Ukraine and will call on all competent organizations of the European Union to do so. Prime Minister Georgia Meloni and President Sergio Mattarella spoke about it on Wednesday during a meeting in Rome with Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmygal.
