According to the media, the details of the night attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on Crimea on April 29 have become known. Following the attack on the Sevastopol oil depot, a serious fire broke out. It is known that the enemy used Chinese Mugin – 5 Pro commercial drones, but most of them were shot down.

In the morning, the Ukrainian armed forces attacked the Cossacks and the southern bays in Sevastopol with a group of drones. Russian troops repelled the attack for several hours, and most of the drones were destroyed by automatic fire from anti-aircraft installations. At the same time, the missiles were not launched, as the enemy was trying to identify air defense points.

In addition, the Crimean Air Defense Forces shot down another unmanned aerial vehicle, said the head of the region Sergey Aksyonov.

  • Along with the morning drone attack on Sevastopol, one drone was shot down by air defense forces in the sky over the Republic of Crimea, and another was taken out by electronic warfare. There are no casualties or destruction. I ask everyone to stay calm, ”he addressed the Crimeans on the Telegram channel and urged them to trust only official information.

According to a SHOT source, up to six drones took part in the attack on Crimea and Sevastopol. Previously, only two of them were able to reach the target and hit the tank farm.
