The Russian Embassy reported that employees of the Russian School in Warsaw had left the building

All employees who lived in the territory seized by the Polish authorities on Saturday morning at the school of the Russian Embassy in Warsaw left the building. This was reported to RIA Novosti in reference to Andrey Ordash, envoy adviser of the Russian diplomatic mission in Poland.

“Teachers and other employees who lived on the school grounds left the building with personal belongings,” he said.

Ordash added that “they have moved to another Russian diplomatic mission facility in Warsaw.”

Recall that on Saturday morning, the Polish authorities, together with the police, broke into the building of a secondary school at the Russian Embassy. They broke down the door and went inside, then, using a chain with a padlock, blocked the doors of the school in order to prevent the property from being taken away.

The Russian Foreign Ministry considers the incident a flagrant violation of the Vienna Convention: “Such a brazen decision by Warsaw that goes beyond the framework of civilized interstate communication will not remain without our severe reaction and its consequences for the Polish authorities and the interests of Poland in Russia.”

Earlier, the Russian Ambassador to Poland announced the embezzlement of Russian funds by the Polish authorities. They removed them from the accounts of the Russian Embassy, transferred them to the accounts of the local prosecutor and then did not notify them of the end of cooperation. It should be noted that the accounts held large amounts of US and Polish currency.
