In Moldova, the vice-president of the opposition party “Shor” Marina Tauber was arrested. The woman tried to fly to Israel, she was arrested at Chisinau airport, the Moldovan prosecutor’s office for the fight against corruption reports on Facebook.
Tauber was arrested at Chisinau airport as he attempted to board a flight to Israel.
It is clarified that the detention was carried out on the basis of the prosecutor’s order, as well as the woman’s violation of a preventive measure – a ban on leaving the settlement where the accused lives.
Tauber was indicted last July in two criminal cases related to party funding. She expressed the wish to cooperate with the investigation to restore justice. At the same time, Tauber noted that the ruling Action and Solidarity Party is behind the criminal charges against him.
