Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

The Russian Foreign Ministry protested to Poland over the seizure of the Russian Embassy School

The Russian Foreign Ministry protested to Poland’s Charge d’Affaires in Moscow, Jacek Szczlyadevsky, who had already been summoned to the office in connection with the seizure of the school building at the Russian Embassy in Warsaw. This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

The ministry called the incident a flagrant violation of the 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations. In addition, the Russian Foreign Ministry pointed to the cynicism of the Polish security forces – they said that the seizure of the school was directed against children who were put on the streets.

Additionally, the department promised that the school’s seizure would not go unanswered.

Recall that on April 29, police and bailiffs arrived at the school of the Russian Embassy in Warsaw, broke the locks and described the property. Employees of the educational institution and students were ordered to leave the building until the evening. At the time of the seizure, there were 29 Russians in the school, including children.

Earlier, Russian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Poland Sergei Andreev told Zvezda that the “predated” Polish side recognized the alleged illegality of the occupation of the school building in Warsaw by the Russian Embassy. Russia. He was at the disposal of the Russian diplomatic mission for 70 years, and only now the Polish authorities have decided to withdraw him through the court and not through negotiations.
