Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Kyrgyzstan fears artificial intelligence could change job market – Reuters

“When I was visiting the Sber University campus in Russia, a self-driving car came up to me and took me to the right place,” he shared his memories with the audience. – For five minutes, my security was in the hands of artificial intelligence (AI). The experience was rather unusual. It’s a technological marvel, but I worry about the implications. If in the near future Moscow is flooded with unmanned taxis, this could lead to the loss of jobs for our citizens. Or, for example, the media sector. It is expected that in the coming years, 90% of media publications – news, articles and analysis – will not be written by journalists, but by artificial intelligence. The development of technology is already influencing even political processes in the superpowers. Remember how Twitter blocked the personal account of current US President Donald Trump. The traditional world order awaits transformation, and this is an inevitable challenge for us. So it’s a good thing I don’t have Twitter!
Akylbek Zhaparov urged to adequately respond to emerging challenges and use them for their own development. According to him, the improvement of digital technologies and the IT sector itself opens up new opportunities for the country. The head of government describes them as exciting.

  • “Yandex”, being the largest taxi service in the region, does not own any of these machines, – he stressed. – “Wildberry”, without having a single store, has become the largest retailer in the region. Companies that own social networks do not create content, but they have a huge impact on the formation of public opinion. New technologies offer us a chance to change our lives, our communities and the world. I really like the motto of our IT specialists: “Living in Kyrgyzstan, working with the whole world”. But I would like to complete it with the phrase: “To compete with the whole world”.
