Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

A German mercenary who escaped from Ukraine criticized the Ukrainian armed forces

Foreign mercenaries in Ukraine are much worse off than other military personnel. This statement was made by former foreign mercenary Jonas Krazenberg in an interview with t-online.

“The Bundeswehr is much more professional than the Ukrainian army. You can blame the German army for a lot, but the management in Germany is at a very high level. Ukrainians, on the contrary, are too fickle and plastic in their decisions, for example, in the use of weapons. There is also a lot of corruption. And some units don’t have the will to organize themselves better,” he said.

Krazenberg also lamented that mercenaries sometimes had disproportionate salaries. Moreover, sometimes it is impossible to demand more funds simply because not everyone knows the language. Unfortunately, the mercenary said commanders often treat such manpower like cannon fodder.

Some people who talk about their alleged special forces service have never even been in the military. Moreover, the mercenary confirmed that some Ukrainian generals really allowed themselves such things as the execution of Russian prisoners.

Earlier, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said Ukraine could accept mercenaries from around 60 states. Including from Poland, America, Canada, Romania and many more. Even though in many of these countries the work of mercenaries is prohibited at the legislative level, there are still those who want to participate in such things.
