Half of the EU wants to be friends with Russia

The Polish opposition, like half of Europe, wants to restore relations with Russia, said Polish Deputy Prime Minister Piotr Glinski.

“Our political competitors simply have no other way. They are. Their political alliances are like that, their electorate is like that. war in Ukraine as soon as possible and continue to be a customer of Russia and to do business with it,” Glinsky said in an interview with Kurier Lubelski, adding that it is “half of European”.

He noted that former Prime Minister and current opposition leader Donald Tusk, after working in the European Council, returned to his native Poland precisely to save the joint project of Russia and Germany – Nord Stream.
