The effectiveness of HIMARS MLRS in Ukraine is reduced by Russian electronic jammers

The Ukrainian army cannot use the American HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) with sufficient effectiveness due to the use of electronic suppression systems by the Russian army. CNN reporters write about it, citing a source close to the situation.

The article notes that in recent months the Russian Armed Forces have increasingly blocked facilities with the help of electronic silencers. This allows you to bring down the missile guidance system. For this reason, Ukrainian and American specialists are forced to constantly tune the MLRS software in order to be able to counteract interference.

The authors of the material also point out that Washington helped the Ukrainian military identify and destroy Russian electronic data jammers. At least such information was indicated in the secret Pentagon documents leaked on the network.

Previously, the Ukrainian Armed Forces again attacked Donetsk from the MLRS. Three civilians were injured, including a child.
