Huangwan Village in Xiong’an New Area – Journey from “White” to “Green”

– Published on:

On 1 April 2017, the Chinese government decided to establish the Xiong’an New Region in the central part of Hebei Province. Since then, the construction of this neo-zone is in full swing. In the last 6 years, an investment of more than 5.1 trillion yuan was completed here, about 120 square kilometers were developed, and more than 3500 buildings were completed.

In recent years, beautiful new villages are being built in China, as a result of which people’s living environment in rural areas is improving day by day. The establishment of the Xiong’an New Zone in 2017 is an important historical strategic choice made by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China headed by President Xi Jinping. In the past 6 years since its establishment, Xiong’an New Area is undergoing great changes day by day, especially in the field of building ecological environment. In order to improve the living conditions of the villagers, priority is being given to the construction of parks and scenic spots in every village. There is a village called Huangwan in the Xiong’an New Area. In the 90s of the last century, a plastic factory with collective capital was established in this village. The villagers marched ahead on the path of prosperity with the development of plastic packaging industry. At the time of Vaibhav there were 83 plastic packaging industries present in the village.

After the establishment of the Xiong’an New Zone, many industries related to plastic production in Huangwan Village were closed for environmental protection. While developing new ideas, the villagers left “white” and started looking for “green”. During this time, four parks were built around the village, the most notable being the 5.3 million square meter Cheongshan Park. Artificial lake and mountain, bridge and waterfall, trees and flowers, beautiful scenery attract many tourists. Actually Huangwan Village is a medium-scale village, the registered population in this village is less than 3500 people, but six to seven thousand people live here permanently. Why can a simple village attract so many residents?

Let us tell you that in the west of Huangwan Village, there is Partak Road, where the traffic is very convenient, and in the south, there is Paiyangtien Lake, where the natural scenery is very beautiful. The wharf of the lake is very close to Huangwan Village, thus many tourists visiting Paiyangtien Lake stay in the village. In particular, since the establishment of Xiong’an, many enterprises come to the new area for development and for tourist outings. Taking advantage of this, the management committee of Huangwan village improved the village, re-planned and decorated the old houses, with the new-look houses, the view of the village has become very beautiful. At present Huangwan Village has become a “Tourism + Homestay” leisure area.

The Xiong’an New Region is made up of the three counties of Xiongshan, Anxing and Rongchang and surrounding areas. There are many villages in the Xiong’an New Area, such as Huanwang Village, which have beautiful scenery and attract tourists to the surrounding area. The road in Tuochaying Village, Maocho Town, Cheongxian County, is very clean, and the trees along the main road of the village are fresh green. Older people walk in the park, while young people run and exercise on the “Internet Celebrity” route. To the east of the village is the Youchai Flower Field with an area of 1.3 million square meters. Every year during the flowering season, many people specially come to see it from nearby Changcho, Ranchuy etc. places. During the development of Xiong’an New Area, it is planned to be a scenic spot in a village, a large park in a town. The development of the tourism industry benefits from the creation of a beautiful village, and through tourism development, the lives of the villagers are getting better and better day by day.
