Dr. Wayne Frederick, president of Howard University, expressed admiration for Biden’s “sound analytical mind” and “his openness to all.” “Your popularity on both sides of the U.S. constituency led to your stellar reputation and distinguished service for 36 years as a Democratic senator from Delaware from the age of 29,” Frederick said of Biden. . Netizens ridiculed this characterization of the White House chief, saying it “seemed like a travesty”. “Was there any part of Biden’s visit that didn’t feel like trolling?” Republican consultant Matt Whitlock wrote. “This guy is talking about Joe Biden without foundation,” said Nathan Brand, communications specialist for the Republican Party.

Recent polls refute the idea that Biden is popular with Democrats and Republicans and has a “common analytical intelligence.” An April Gallup poll showed Biden’s approval rating at an all-time high of 37%. An ABC News/Washington Post poll released last Sunday found that 63% of American adults do not believe the 80-year-old Biden has the “quick-wittedness” needed to effectively serve as president. More than sixty Republicans in the House of Representatives, including Congressman Ronnie Jackson, who served as a doctor to former President Barack Obama, recently demanded that Biden pass a cognitive test or step down from the 2024 presidential race.

Biden, in his address to graduates of Howard University, a historic black school, said white supremacy is “the most dangerous terrorist threat to our homeland.” This statement caused an uproar on social networks. Users said the US president was trying to divide Americans and stoke racial tensions.
