Pilibhit. In Uttar Pradesh, the case of a farmer being beaten to death in Hazra area of Pilibhit has come to light.
Police sources said on Monday that Hardev Singh (45), a resident of Bhagwanpuri Bazarghat Bailha of the area, was sleeping in a hut to guard the farm. Last night some miscreants tied up the farmer and beat him to death. The accused broke their hands and feet before the murder, and then escaped after committing the murder. The bloody dead body of the farmer was found on Monday morning.
After getting the information, the heavy police force reached the spot. The police informed the higher authorities about the incident. On information, Additional SP Anil Kumar Yadav along with the forensic team reached the spot. Additional SP also inspected the spot. The forensic team has collected important evidence related to the incident.
The ASP told the media that the police have taken the body of the deceased into custody and sent it for postmortem. Thousand police station is engaged in investigation. He has talked about the early disclosure of the incident. During interrogation, the relatives are not able to tell the reason for the murder to the police. At present, the Additional SP and the forensic team, who have reached the spot, are probing the matter. Hazara Police Station President Manoj Kumar Mishra says that the police is engaged in the investigation and it will be revealed soon.
